Writing baby - Baby Hammock and further help

Do you have a cry baby and want nothing more than to soothe and comfort your child? We understand how difficult and stressful it can be to have a baby who cries a lot and is seemingly inconsolable. That's why we've tried to put together some offers of help and tips to help your baby sleep (and be awake) peacefully, or at least more peacefully.

What is a crying baby?

Having a cry baby means that your child cries frequently and intensely, often for no apparent reason. These phases of crying usually occur in the evening or at night and can last for several weeks or months. Crying babies are often difficult to soothe and cannot be comforted by the usual measures, such as feeding, changing diapers or stroking. It can feel like nothing you do can comfort your baby. For many parents, this makes the first time with a baby an absolute test of endurance.

It is important to realize that a cry baby is not just a baby who cries more often. Having a crying baby is a special case that may require special help.

Don't be alone with your worries

Your first port of call is the pediatrician. They can rule out and treat possible health and organic causes for the crying. An examination by an osteopath or physiotherapist can also help to release blockages or tension in the baby's body that may be causing pain or discomfort. It may also be helpful to seek nutritional advice to ensure that the baby is getting enough nutrients and to rule out possible food intolerances. If you have already ruled out all physical causes, you can take advantage of psychological counseling to help you and the parents cope with this difficult situation.

To get the right help, there are special cry baby consultations or crying outpatient clinics. These specially trained people can help you to understand the causes of your child's crying and find ways to help them.

Baby Hammock and further tips for parents of cry babies

You've probably heard every tip imaginable. And yes, we take it seriously: a cry baby is a baby who can't be calmed down with the usual tricks. However, we would like to share our Baby Hammock which can at least promise some relief.

Our Baby Hammock can help soothe your baby to sleep. The gentle rocking movements mimic the movements in the womb and can give your child a feeling of calm and security. Through the self-learning motor allows you to determine exactly how the cradle swings, which can be particularly helpful for a baby who cries a lot and can only be soothed by special rocking. The cradle can work particularly well for children who tend to be soothed when being carried. Parents tell us that it frees up their hands for at least a short time and that children can sleep for longer.

However, there are other tips that you can try out to calm your child:

  • Talk soothingly to your baby and try stroking or massaging them gently.
  • A warm and cozy environment can also help.
  • You can try playing soft music or white noise to provide your child with a pleasant background noise.

And the most important thingEven if it may not feel like it right now, please remember that you are not alone and that there is no shame in asking for help. Look for support from those around you or contact a cry baby counselor. You are already doing everything in your power to comfort and help your child. Remain patient and trust that things will get better.
